One of the goals for this project is to build strong links between researchers, practitioners and around the world. As part of our continuous efforts, we will have another workshop at one of the most prestigious conferences in the field of computer animation – CASA (Computer Animation and Social Agent).

The 29th International Conference on Computer Animation and Social Agents (CASA 2016) will be held at University of Geneva, on the beautiful BIOTECH Campus on May 23-25, 2016. The conference is organized by one of the AniNex partners, MIRALab, University of Geneva in cooperation with ACM-SIGGRAPH and The Eurographics Association. CASA is the oldest international conference in computer animation and social agents in the world. It was founded in Geneva in 1988 under the name of Computer Animation (CA). In the last past ten years, CASA was held in Switzerland (2006), Belgium (2007), Korea (2008), Netherlands (2009), France (2010), China (2011), Singapore (2012), Turkey (2013), United States (2014) and Singapore (2015).

We would like to invite submissions of posters to disseminate the research at the workshop, which covers topics related to computer animation techniques, including but not limited to:

• Advanced physically based animation techniques and dynamics

  • Geometric modelling
  • Physics-based animation
  • Animation and simulation of natural environments
  • Deformation
  • Fluid simulation
  • Hair and clothes
  • Rendering techniques
  • Collision detection
  • GPU based modelling and simulation

• Advanced character animation and modelling

  • Facial modelling animation
  • Muscle modelling
  • Character rigging and skinning
  • Animation from motion capture
  • Character animation
  • Crowd simulation
  • Ai and games
  • Social agent and applications

Interested authors are welcome to send in their tentative titles and abstracts through email to Dr Jian Chang (jchang@bournemouth.ac.uk). Full electronic manuscripts (MS-Word, or PDF file) should be submitted via https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=aninex2016 by 28th April, 2016.
